School Uniform

Please find details below of our school uniform.  Please ensure ALL school uniform/clothing brought into school has your child's name or initials written clearly on the label so that we can identify any lost property.

Winter Uniform 

        

Girls:              

- black or grey skirt / pinafore or trousers                                                                                                                  

- white blouse / polo shirt                                              

- school sweatshirt / plain navy blue cardigan or jumper

- white or grey socks / grey tights

- black shoes (sensible, flat and no sandals)

Boys:  

- black or grey trousers

- white shirt / polo shirt 

- school sweatshirt / plain navy blue jumper

- black or grey socks

- plain black school shoes 

Footwear

Children should wear sensible black school shoes. Trainers, boots, high-heeled shoes, platform-soled shoes or strappy sandals are not suitable for wearing all day. However, children may bring in trainers to wear at break times.

P.E Kit

Shorts (plain navy blue), plain white T-shirt and trainers. Children can come to school dressed in their PE kits on the days they have PE. 

Hair, Make-up and Jewellery

Children must also attend school with a sensible hair style, which is not extreme or which includes unnatural bright colouring or outrageous hair patterns, this includes shaved lines in short hair. Hair should not attract undue attention or interfere with work. Jewellery is not allowed except for a watch and one plain, small stud earring in each ear (which must be removed for PE); no other jewellery or piercings are allowed. Necklaces are not suitable for school sensible black school shoes. Trainers, boots, high-heeled shoes, platform-soled shoes or strappy sandals are not suitable for wearing all day. However, children may bring in trainers to wear at break times.as they can catch and cause injury or break. We have allowed wristbands in the past if they are charity ones. Hair bands or bobbles if worn, must be simple and plain.

 

Children are not permitted to wear make-up in school in school at any time.  This includes nail polish or false nails (stick-on or acrylic).  If a child comes into school wearing make-up or nail polish, they may be asked to remove it as soon as possible.  If a child comes into school wearing false nails of any form, we will ask the child’s parents to collect them and take them home or to a professional to be removed.  The child will not be allowed back into school until they have had them removed as this is a health and safety risk to themselves or other children due to the possibility of scratching another or themselves, as well as the possibility of getting their nails caught or trapped.

School Logo Clothing

School jumpers, cardigans, polo shirts and book bags are available with the school logo embroidered on them and can be ordered online.

Summer Uniform  

Girls:  

- blue & white checked summer dress (optional)

- school sweatshirt / plain navy blue cardigan or jumper

- sunhat (for outdoors)

(Please note that uniform will be as stated in Winter Uniform if your child does not wish to wear a summer dress)

Boys:  

- black or grey shorts or trousers

- white shirt / polo shirt

- school sweatshirt / plain navy blue jumper

- black or grey socks

- sunhat (for outdoors)
