Welcome to Ashdown Class.

We are very excited to introduce our newest class.

Ashdown is a key stage one resource base that caters for children age 4-7 with social and emotional needs.

Our brand new classroom has an enclosed sensory room and separate chill out room, providing lots of space and relaxation when the children need it.

Our resource base can accommodate up to 8 children and has three members of staff.  Mrs Houghton is the class teacher and she is supported by two teaching assistants, Mrs Halle and Mrs Linton, providing lots of adult time and support to our children.

The children follow the national curriculum at a pace that suits their needs.  We provide lots of opportunities for play breaks, mindfulness and child-led activities along the way.
